SCS SB 767 -- MEMORIAL HIGHWAY

SPONSOR:  Clemens (Cunningham, 145)

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass by consent" by the Committee on
Transportation and Motor Vehicles by a vote of 20 to 0.

This substitute designates a portion of Interstate 44 within
Webster County as the "Edwin P. Hubble Memorial Highway."

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2005, FY 2006, and
FY 2007.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say this designation will be a fitting
and appropriate honor.

Testifying for the bill was Senator Clemens.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
